Pre AP World Geography Course Description

Geography is the study of the physical and cultural landscapes of the Earth.  In World Geography we will be studying geography of our planet through a regional lens.  We will be studying the different regions of the planet and exploring the many physical features and cultures that fill our planet.  In this course you will learn to look beyond our state and nation’s borders and learn what life is like in other parts of the world.  As part of the Legacy Early College High School this course will challenge you in many ways, both academically and personally.  My goal is to broaden your mind and thinking about the world around us and the ways that we interact with our planet everyday.  Your success in this course will depend on the effort you put into it.  As a Pre AP Course, World Geography will help prepare you for your upcoming college level courses and will include outside of class research projects and papers.
