Algebra I Course Description

This course will expand existing quantitative skills to include algebraic and symbolic reasoning.  Emphasis is placed on the relationship between equations and functions, problem-solving skills, linear functions, and the use of graphing technology.  Other topics include systems of linear equations, linear inequalities, direct variation, and proportions.
